The Conservatory

The public conservatory was constructed in an attractice manner, various geogeously coloured flowering plants, throughout the year. Such colorful annuals and perennials like Cineraria, Schizanthus, Caleolariam, balsam, Cyclamen, Gloxinia, tuberous begonia, coleusm geranium, chrysanthemum, primulas, Tydea, Achemenes, etc., find a place in this conservator.

The bog garden lies towards the east of this conservatory and forms an adjunct to provide a good site for marsh loving plants such as the weeping willow, headychium, arum, hydrangea etc.

A new feature added to the section during the recent years is the rock and Alpine gardens. Over 200 species of rock plants obtained from various hill ranges in India and other countries have been planted in a realisic manner. The gaint and fascinating plants in the rock garden merges beautifully with the back drop of this section.
